    Cerdikwan’s research expertise includes local politics and political competition, religious extremism, intra-religious conflicts, minority rights, and qualitative development evaluation. Cerdikwan research interests span the themes of religion and conflict resolution, security issues, decentralization and local politics, managing religious minority rights, and program impact evaluation

  • Andini Pramono, PhD

    Andini’s research expertise covers infant and young child feeding, health policy, child and maternal health, and the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative. Meanwhile, her research interests are women's health, child and maternal health, gender studies, hospital management, climate crisis related to health and wellbeing

  • Muhammad Riza Nurdin, PhD

    Riza’s main areas of expertise are humanitarian and development aid, civic and social movements, faith-based organizations, and community development. His research interests include humanitarianism, the anthropology of development, non-traditional security (natural disasters, climate change, forced migration, pandemics), religion and sustainable development, and Southeast Asian studies.

  • Ummi Kultsum, PhD

    Ummi’s research focuses on education and leadership in Islamic-based schools (madrasahs), Teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and Project-based learning (PBL) in teaching English as a second language. Ummi has broad experience on research in classroom action research, qualitative study, and mixed methods of school management, school leadership, and language teaching. Currently, she teaches legal English, advanced English language study, and second language acquisition.
