Good Governance

Our research on good governance is geared towards understanding issues such as the provision of transparent, accountable, effective and efficient public services across all levels of government. We also focus on assessing the effectiveness in the implementation of Village Fund (Dana Desa) and social protection in villages; as well as examining participatory local governance, particularly at the village.

We aim to impact policies on:

• the adoption of participatory approach in government;

• evidence-based methods in policy-making; and

• the development of villages and poor and underdeveloped regions in Indonesia.
